Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Charles Spurgeon.
“If a truth looks dark, it is not wise for me to dwell on it all the time. It is wise to examine the whole range of truth and see if there is not some other doctrine that will give me hope.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;
Our Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for gifting us with discernment and guiding us with Your wisdom. How wonderful is Your word and what a blessing that we can all carry Your word with us so easily. Let us not take this life saving Word for granted, but lead us in love to reading and reflecting upon it daily. Help us not get fixed on a verse or apparent contradiction, but have us read more and learn more and lean not on our own understanding. Continue to show us what we are seeking, and if we are not seeking Your face, please correct our search. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
