Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Brooke Foss Westcott.
“If there be no sympathy there can be no understanding.”
Ephesians 5:28 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for our spouses that live with our flaws and sin, and thank You for blessing us with humility to see past theirs. Guide us today, in love by way of service, even long-suffering, with joy in our hearts for these gifts. Help us to live out sympathy and humble us to ask for understanding when it is absent. May this prayer be a reminder to us that you promise to give wisdom to those that ask for it. May Your wisdom lead us to peace and love for all, but even more so for our helpmates. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Love today’s message. Whether our spouses, close friends or family, He calls us to love. His special vision on marriage calls us to love unconditionally. As men, we cherish, protect and preserve our wives, like He does the church.
