Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Martin Luther.
“… the ungodly man, like Satan his prince, is wholly turned to self and to his own. He does not seek God, nor care for the things of God: he seeks his own riches, and glory, and works, and wisdom, and power, and sovereignty in everything, and wants to enjoy it in peace.”
Romans 5:6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Our Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for saving us the ungodly and undeserving. Thank You, for changing our hearts of stone into pliable instruments set to do Your will. Please, Lord, grant us wisdom to understand our wicked nature and bend towards sin. Help us to see how we are powerless without You to do the right things. Remind us that it is You who works in us to will and to act in order to fulfill Your good purpose. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Thank you brother. Another message to turn us away from self. Martin Luther’s message resonates. Let us allow Him to fill us today through His Spirit! Happy Sunday!
