You Have Been Prayed For… JAMES 3:8

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Merlin Carothers.

“Christians who over-talk have turned many people from God.”

James 3:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for discernment and awareness of how dangerous our tongues can be. Help us to stay quiet when we would rather prove someone wrong than show love. Show us that we are not so wise, but only blessed by Your wisdom and understanding that leads to peace and rejoicing. Help us to be still and quiet when others speak and bold yet humble when we have something to say. Lead us in love and continue to turn what the enemy means for evil into good for the welfare of Your Church and Your children. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. Such a easy thing to give into! I agree with my brother Matthew! Help us all to be still , quiet , resting in our Lord Christ Jesus! He’s taking care of it all!

  2. So many prayers, so much faith! Praise God! In Proverbs 15:29, The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Imagine, all the prayers He hears, what an amazing God we have!♥️🙏🏻
