You Have Been Prayed For… PROVERBS 20:9

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from J. I. Packer.

‘Doing it my way’ is seen as a sign of individual integrity and creativity in a too-conformist world, whereas it is in reality a surface-level symptom of sin’s rule in the heart.

Proverbs 20:9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Who can say, “I have cleansed my heart,
I am pure from my sin”?

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for the sacrifice You made that cleanses us from our sins. Praise the name of Jesus, which has the power to save. Your servant is guilty of a hard heart and a prideful spirit that attempts to play god by doing things that are clearly against Your will. Help Your servants stubbornness and relax this stiff neck. Help our unbelief and increase our faith, hope, and love in You alone. Open our eyes to the Truth and protect us from all unrighteousness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. All sin is based on selfishness. That was a piece of wisdom you gave us in the past brother. Will we cling to terra firma and trust in self, or will we release self, look to Him and let go of the wheel? Today, I chose to trust in a Holy God who has already done it all. A God who has prepared a place for me. A God who has placed my name, my very name, in His book of life. What a deal! Hallelujah!
