23 But Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, nor shall my son rule over you; the Lord shall rule over you.”
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for telling us that we would do better with You than with man ruling over us. If we could only trust more, we could avoid so much of the troubles and trials we find ourselves in. Help us to see things as Gideon did, that You alone shall rule over us. Be our lamp to ensure we do not turn down the roads of darkness to the ways of men, but stay on the paths that lead to eternal life with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Such a tremendous lesson in today’s scripture my brother. Trusting man, trusting this world, or anything else other than God, is a path to a place that is not good. He is love, He is our peace. May your day be blessed my friend!
