Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Merlin Carothers.
“Negative, critical, fault-finding words can destroy someone as effectively as throwing stones.”
John 8:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Thank You, for the gentle rebukes and the merciful corrections that result in a closer walk with You. Help us to not cast stones but to cast love and encouragement on those we see stuck in sin. Guide us gently to come alongside our brothers and sisters in support of what is good. May we never cause another to stumble, but be there with a loving word in hopes of genuine repentance that results in honoring You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Such a powerful message today Matthew. At 63, I still remember hurtful words spoken to me as a child. I still remember hurtful words I allowed from my mouth. But praise be to the Lord for placing soft forgiveness in my heart and soft words on my tongue, all from His Spirit. He is the Source of all that is good!

Amen brother. I pray that through sharing our faults our brothers and sisters might be able to avoid repeating our folly. 🙌🏼❤️
