Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Mark Twain.
“The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can’t read them!”
Jeremiah 17:9-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
10 “I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give to each man according to his ways,
According to the results of his deeds.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for both providing books and the understanding and wisdom to read them. Bless You, for Your Word and Your book most of all. Soften our hearts, through our renewing our minds with Your Word, and as we read other books and learn other information may it all be seen and understood through Your Holy Spirit. Help us to see the foolishness of relying on our own thinking and understanding. Lead us in the blameless and righteous walk, following the Your footsteps and imitating Your character as we go. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
