Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Charles Spurgeon.
“Get on your knees, you who feel guilty. Get on your knees if your heart is sighing on account of sin. If the dark gloom of your iniquities is gathering around you, cry to God. He will hear you.”
2 Chronicles 6:19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
19 Yet have regard to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You;
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless Your gifts of repentance and prayer. Thank You for the gift of guilt so we can know when we have offended You with sin. Guide us, in mind and body, to focus on You in all our pursuits. Heal us of pride and self-focus. Unite us in love to the point where we do not worry of our differences, but rather focus on the glory and honor of the work done on the cross. May our prayers and praises lead to increases in faith and belief in Your love for us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
