You Have Been Prayed For… ACTS 17:11

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Ravi Zacharias.

“Philosophically, you can believe anything, so long as you do not claim it to be true.

Acts 17:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless Your answers to our many and endless string of prayers.  Thank You for the many experiences that demonstrate Your love for us.  Place great eagerness in our hearts to examine Scripture daily.  May we grow closer and closer to You as we read and hear Your word.  Grant us the noble character of the Bereans so we may shine brighter and brighter for You.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

    1. As the Berean Jews searched the scriptures with eagerness, David writes ,
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you. My whole being longs for you in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will Glorify you.” Psalms 63:1-3

  2. Great quote and true. The church has adopted a similar model “you can believe anything you want as long as you keep it to yourself”, in other words you can disagree with our theology but keep it to yourself. We should and need to get back to discussing theology in church without the threat of offending someone (which is so easy to do when you have different theology than your fellow brother) and except differences in our views where there is liberty to view things differently. Thanks bro for your dedication every morning to bring us the word 🙂

  3. Thank you Father God for insight , revelation!
Proverbs 27:19, As in water face reflects face, so a mans heart reveals the man. Thank you for knowing our hearts desires and blessing us to use those desires to bless others. ❤️🙏🏻
