Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Christopher J.H. Wright.
“It is very important to see that the law was given for people’s sake, not for God’s sake…The law was a gift of grace, a blessing, a treasure, one of the many great privileges God had entrusted to Israel – for their own good and then for the blessing of the rest of humanity.”
Psalm 119:97 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
97 O how I love Your law!
It is my meditation all the day.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Thank You for selecting Israel to be the recipient of Your law and for blessing the nations through her. Your ways and laws are so worthy of our love and meditation. Help us to bind Your word to our hearts so every step is one that would honor You. Bless You, for being the standard of all that is good. Help Your servant to ignore the distractions of the world and to keep far from temptation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Makes me wonder if that’s why so many lawyers are Jewish?

Today’s writing and prayer makes me think about our lineage. We are amazingly blessed! More than words can say! I needed that, only God knows! Sometimes the stress of the darkness is almost overwhelming! But, greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world! Praise God! Thank you Matthew, God bless you and your family!❤️🙏🏻
