Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Michael Locina and then Josh McDowell.
“Our knowledge of the past comes exclusively through sources. This means that, to an extent, our only link to the past is through the eyes of someone else, a person who had his or her own opinions and agendas.” – Michael Locina
“By its nature historical inquiry is always selective and limited because the historian cannot possibly mention everything.” – Josh McDowell
Job 8:8-10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
8 “Please inquire of past generations,
And consider the things searched out by their fathers.
9 “For we are only of yesterday and know nothing,
Because our days on earth are as a shadow.
10 “Will they not teach you and tell you,
And bring forth words from their minds?
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Thank You for using Your creation to record history for the generations that followed. Help us to learn from our fathers with open minds. Guide us in the ways that result in Your glory an honor. Help us not to be a stiffnecked people, but one of learning and growing in Your perfect truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
TY my brother! I am reminded this new day of being like-minded with the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Humility, the cross and Christ Jesus who is a perfect example of humility. Thank you Father God for these blessings. All of this from Philippians 2.❤️🙏🏻
