Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Christopher J.H. Wright.
“Human life and human needs take precedence over all other personal claims or rights, as well as over rules and regulations.”
Luke 10:36-37 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
36 Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?” 37 And he said, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Thank You for Your mercy towards us. Bless the teaching and wisdom You have delivered. Help us to be neighbors of mercy. Lead us in Your ways to see human needs take precedence over man’s desire for power and control. Remove the scales from all eyes and open ears and minds to receive Your word in a special way today. May it all be done for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Great choice today Matthew.
