You Have Been Prayed For… 1 THESSALONIANS 5:23

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Christopher J.H. Wright.

“Not only does the Old Testament tell the story which Jesus completes, it also declares the promise which Jesus fulfills.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Thank You for setting us apart for Your purpose.  Thank You for the truths and promises You have delivered through Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Help us to see all the love and grace You freely pour out on Your children.  You alone are the giver of good and perfect gifts.  Remind us constantly of Your greatness and of our future and hope.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. You know Matthew, the scripture in Colossians 2:13-15, declares what Jesus fulfilled!
“ When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. “
