Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
“It is only because He became like us that we can become like Him.”
John 1:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
The Word Made Flesh
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Thank You for sending Jesus to dwell among us, to teach and disciple Your saints in all Your ways. Bless You, Father, for bringing truth and grace to this fallen world. Thank You for providing us with a hope and a future in Your kingdom as co-heirs of heaven. Remind us continually of Your saving grace and may it inspire us all to live in complete obedience to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Thank you Matthew. Considering the hurt and unrest we are witnessing, it is refreshing to review the fact that our Lord and King literally came as a human being. He shed His privilege as God to witness and experience our human struggles yet never bowed to sin’s draw. He prevailed in the face of the very struggles we witness. What a beautiful example for us to follow. Today, let’s choose to love instead of hate. Let’s choose to heal and be healed. Let’s choose to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly, together, with our God.

Amen brother.
Anger never led to peace. Reminds me of how Paul started his journey with arguments and switched to reasoning and dialogue. I can easily see if I didn’t trust our Father I would be in caught up in the web myself. Praise the King, He is Alive!🙌🏼❤️
