Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
“Those who are still afraid of men have no fear of God, and those who have fear of God have ceased to be afraid of men.”
1 Samuel 12:20 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have committed all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant prays. Thank You for being our peace and making it possible to not fear men, but You alone. Give us Your Spirit of boldness to take hold of any fear or anxiety that takes these eyes off You. Help us to repent from our evil ways and stand with You, our firm foundation of grace and truth. Expose our fears with Your light and expose the lies that are crowding out Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
