You Have Been Prayed For… MARK 14:38

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“The spirit knows the right way, and desires to follow it, but the flesh lacks courage and finds it too hard, too hazardous and wearisome, and so it stifles the voice of the spirit.”

Mark 14:38 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

38 Keep watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to guide, comfort, and counsel us.  Help us to quiet down so we can hear You.  Lead us to Your Word so You may speak to us through it.  Your living Word brings peace and Your work on the cross in our victory.  Bless us with the courage needed to follow You.  Increase our faith and help our unbelief.  Destroy every stronghold in our way to becoming fully obedient.  Help us to boast of our weakness and call to You in our distress.  Remind us of Your glory so we may never forget or take for granted Your wonderful gifts.  Help us to not grow weary of picking up our cross daily in pursuit of You.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
