Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
“Jesus Christ is not a standard I can apply to others. He is judge of myself, revealing my own virtues to me as something altogether evil. Thus I am not permitted to apply to the other person what does not apply to me.”
James 4:11-12 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
11 Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Thank You for this inspired letter from James. Thank You for being our perfect Judge. Help your servant to remember this in the face of what might appear to need correction and to bring the concern to You. Help us to seek solutions and encourage our neighbors instead of finding blame and criticizing them. Help us to ask questions about our circumstances instead of making harsh statements or attacking what we would rather be done another way. Help these eyes see only beauty at the heart level and ignore the filthy sin that is in all flesh. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Powerful scripture to absolutely take in. Especially as we as a body of believers all have different insights and levels of stepping out of quarantine. Oh Lord , let not my heart and mind do anything but love and seek to understand.

Hallelujah we can call upon Him in the day of trouble, He delivers us, we shall glorify Him, as He covers us with His wings. Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for He alone is Judge! Psalm 50.
As we step out, I pray we all realize what we have in our King Jesus! No holding back, just pure love!❤️🙏🏻

I am glad He does not judge me in the manner that I can judge others! Great response Trish. Especially at this time when others can be stressed and in a different place than we might be.
