Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, Jesus, for calling us to follow. Forgive us for not hearing or paying attention to the call. Please do not relent from speaking to us. Use us and others to wake up the sleepy and echo Your word to those that do not hear. Help us to see with Your eyes the false treasures we cling to. Let us see them as the rubbish they are, that all will result in disappointment given enough time. You alone are not wasting away and are everlasting. Please grant us faith and belief in this simple truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
