You Have Been Prayed For… 2 CORINTHIAN 10:5

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“…only he who is obedient can believe.

2 Corinthians 10:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Praise the work of Your hands.  Praise the simplicity of Your commands.  Your servant confesses to the fact it is not easy to die to self but You made a way, and with Your strength, we will succeed.  Thank You Holy Spirit for filling and sealing us believers with the precious blood of Christ.  May we draw nearer and nearer with each step we take.  May our voices rejoice in sharing the Gospel with each breath we take.  Guide us into obedience and therefore into eternal peace with You.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. Lord I confess that fear draws my thoughts inward. But even in my selfishness, You are there. You capture my thoughts and provide new mercies to restore me in the morning. You help my unbelief. You set my feet on the Rock of Christ Jesus and order my steps. You fill me with faith and make this wretched man whole again with Your refreshing Spirit. Then through it all, You tell me You love me. I am highly favored and a child of the Most High. Protected and provided for by Your grace and mercy. May I today speak Your truth. May we share in Your love today. Fill us Holy Spirit and give us Your wisdom. For You receive the glory. Hallelujah!
