You Have Been Prayed For… PHILIPPIANS 2:3

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“We thank God for giving us brethren who live by His call, by His righteousness, by His forgiveness, and His promise.

Philippians 2:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;

Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You for the brethren that fit the description from brother Dietrich.  Bless You, for filling these saints with Your Spirit.  Your servant prays for a heart like this for the purposes of doing Your will.  Increase faith and belief in hard hearts.   Place humility in our minds and a spirit of service in our souls.  May it all be for You and You alone, void of selfishness but full of love.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. A perfect prayer of selfless thought and practice that honors Him by placing Him first. The men and women in my life that exhibited those attributes are now cherished in my heart. After all, Jesus was the author and finisher of our faith. Let’s live by His example. Thank you again brother.

  2. I agree with Corky, and we are so blessed to be able to look at self and realize we are nothing with out our beautiful Jesus. The scripture “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” Psalm 119:103
    He gives us so much! I pray all day long we sing His praises! We lift others up who need that sweetness ! Praise God!❤️🙏🏻

  3. I’ve been distracted by many things in the past several days.
    Turned off the TV and sat down with the cat in my lap to catch up on your post and prayers.
    What a comforting feeling.
    Thank you for your time and effort.
