During my Bible study time this morning, I came upon this verse and a new and fresh question came to mind.
2 Chronicles 20:25 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
25 When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much.
There is mention that after the Lord gave success, without the need to fight the armies, it took His people 3 days to carry off the spoils of war. Nice stuff! Wondering how do I find out if it is normal for the armies to bring so much to war with them or this was a special case from God giving abundance to His people. Or maybe the armies were so sure they would win they had all their stuff with them.
Anyone else ever stop on this part and ask questions?
