Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this thought from A.W. Tozer.
“How can any man believe a command? Commands are to be obeyed, and until we have obeyed them we have done exactly nothing at all about them. And to have heard them and not obeyed them is infinitely worse than never to have heard them at all, especially in the light of Christ’s soon return and the judgment to come.”
1 Chronicles 23:30 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
30 They are to stand every morning to thank and to praise the Lord, and likewise at evening,
Lord Jesus, Your servant prays for peace in the hearts of Your children. May we stand this morning, knowing it is by Your strength that we can do so, and offer thanks and praise to You, our Lord. Place desire in our hearts to be in continuous communication with You. Let praise be on our lips and guard us against distraction, temptation, and selfish thinking. Be our shield, our hope, and lamp in times of darkness. Bless those that have heard. Give us the discipline to obey and use us to bring the truth to those who have not heard. Let us be Your successful agents until Your return. In Jesus’ name, amen.
