Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I ask that you consider these statements from François Fénelon (1651-1715)
“When you become outraged over a person’s faults, it is generally not “righteous indignation” but your own impatient personality expressing itself”
“The more you selfishly love yourself, the more critical you will be.”
Matthew 7:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
Abba, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through and by Your Son Jesus, Your servant prays. Praise You for slapping me in the face with the truth this morning. Heal me from my impatient nature and critical eye, or use it only for good. Lord, grant Your servant more patience to endure this world as it is, not as I would have it. Bless us with serenity to accept those things we cannot change. Please, soften my heart. Be with all Your sons and daughters today. Bless and protect us, our Good Shepard, from ourselves and from any evil that is crouching at our door. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
