Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I ask that you consider this statement from François Fénelon (1651-1715)

“Slowly you will learn that all the troubles in your life – your job, your health, your inward failings – are really cures to the poison of your old nature.”

²² that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, ²³ and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Abba, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through and by Your Son Jesus, Your servant prays.  Praise You this morning and bless You for the Way.  You are so worthy of our praise.  Hear us pray and lovingly answer as You always do.  Provide us the trouble we need in this life to learn the lessons You know we are deficient in.  Cure us, Lord Jesus, of our old nature and be our strength and our shield as we face these troubles that will lead us to You.  May it all be for Your glory alone.  In Jesus’ Name, amen.
