You Have Been Prayed For… 2 SAMUEL 2:6

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. The thought this morning is Appreciation.

“The only real, practical measure of my appreciation for the goodness and mercy of God to me is the extent to which I am, in turn, prepared to show goodness and mercy to others.” W. Phillip Keller

Having read the above recently brought me into a place of deep reflection. I confess it can be overwhelmingly difficult to show goodness and mercy when we are under attack. But my experience tells me these tests or trials are for my good. If I return love for any evil my Lord is pleased. If I fail but learn from the experience, my Lord knows it will help me next time. What do you need to be more appreciative of?

2 Samuel 2:6 New International Version (NIV)

May the Lord now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.

Heavenly Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through and by Your Son Jesus Your servant prays.  Bless You and Praise Your Holy Name for showing us kindness, faithfulness, hope, and love.  While we may stumble or fail in our showing these fruits of the Spirit to You and others we will not grow weary of trying.  Be our strength and our shield my Lord, prepare us for the opportunities that lay ahead.  Refresh us so we may refresh and pour into the lives of your sons and daughters.  Hear Your servants as we offer prayers for healing, reconciliation, restoration, and salvation for our loved ones.  In Jesus’ Name, amen.

  1. This prayer by Matthew and the passage im 2nd Samual makes me realize as I go through my daily activity’s driving 95 in Miami and elsewhere, the people I meet in an angry state of mind and just people going through their struggles each day

That I have done all this and even more than they , so I move forward with a thankful heart.

Knowing Jesus forgives me far more than I forgave them but only because I make a conscientious effort to forgive them – even when I faulted and fall victim to my old self

But many times I see myself doing better because my lord strengthens me

I know every day Jesus gives. A renewed day to do better

Thank you Matthew for the prays but more so

Thank you Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior
