You Have Been Prayed For… JAMES 1:2-3

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. The thought this morning is focused on trials. Maybe difficulties is a term that better resonates. But the point is life will get difficult and we will face trials, tests, or struggles. The big question is how will you see it? Is it going to freeze you in your tracks, will you play the victim ,or will you call upon the power of Jesus to be your strength and shield, allowing Him to refine you through the process?

James 1:2-3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

Heavenly Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through and by Your Son Jesus Your servant prays. Thank You for the opportunities that await us today to be tested. We trust they will result in deeper fellowship with You. Help us to see these trials for what they truly are. You servant offers up prayers right now for You to be our shield and our hope as well as lay Your right hand on our illnesses and pains. Only You Lord, it is only You that we need. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

  1. Yes🤓, only You Lord! You are our banner and restore and protect us every moment. As I was reading this am, James 1, I pray inspired by the Holy Spirit that none of us are drawn away by our own desires. But that we stay strong, focused on Him, our beautiful King Jesus!!

  2. So during this recent illness, many friends on this page and elsewhere have brought Sheila and I suggestions for doctors, humor and laughs, concern and offers for assistance and most important, many prayers. If that doesn’t sound like Jesus, I don’t know what does. Thank you Matthew and thank you all for your friendship, love and Spirit lead mercy. We are on the mend! Love you all beyond words.

  3. During this recent illness, our friends have reached out and blessed us with humor, offers of assistance, a doctor referral, love and most of all, prayers. Matthew, Sheila and I cannot thank you and all the others for loving us like you do. We love you all as well. If that does not look like Jesus, I don’t know what does!
