1 Samuel 16:7 (NASB)
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Lord Jesus, Holy and Mighty, thank You for this day. I pray with thanksgiving that You help us to see as You do. That our focus is not of the world, but on heavenly things (COL 3:2) and that we can see the heart you have placed in us all. Please Lord, soften our hearts and close the gap between our knowledge and belief, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen 🙏🏼
