You Have Been Prayed For… PROVERBS 1:7

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; ( 2 Peter 1:2). Truth is a very interesting topic to me. It is interesting how many believe truth cannot be known or place themselves in a very strange box the excludes truth. Truth is unavoidable and just because one doesn’t believe it doesn’t make it go away. As just one very famous example (in case you’ve been guilty of using this assertion) When someone says: “There is no truth” you simple ask them if that is a true statement. The law of non-contradiction proves the case for truth. Now that you know there is truth, don’t you think you owe it to yourself to chase after it. Who wants to live a lie?

Proverbs 1:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, our loving Abba, praise You and bless You for truth. Thank You for wisdom and understanding so we can make sense of the world You created for us. I pray that we, Your children, would love truth and pursue it. That we would have open hearts and minds to allow the truth in. I pray we do not distort and twist Your world or Word into something it is not. May we have no part in causing another of Your children to stumble as they chase You. Bless us and protect us my King. In Jesus’ Holy Name, amen.

  1. We have always been told telling the truth is best. However, today some would rather have no truths. This means all bets are off and anything goes. Insanity rules. Praise our Lord that His Truth never fails or rests. Praise Jesus that He fills us with His Spirit to help us understand and live Truth. You my brother have His Truth, purpose and love in your life. Thank you for sharing with us!

  2. Truth is not elusive . It is clear and blunt.

    When the truth is distorted, clouded, or “out of focus” it is not the Lords accounting but that is due to lack of vision.

    Sometimes it’s lack of our own vision and sometimes it’s opposing forces causing us to view through their Lense.

    In either case the Lords view of the truth is always clear.

    Chose to ask the Lord for clarity and he will provide,
