I raise a hallelujah, for this morning that You gave to me. I raise a hallelujah, for the heart You put inside of me…
I had the song from Bethel Music Raise a Hallelujah on my mind and in my heart as I slept last night and as I woke this morning. In fact, I have had this song glued to me since I heard a guest (Setnick Sene His YouTube) sing it past Sunday at Calvary Jupiter. Of course, those of you that know the song know that I changed the lyrics. I did so based on the things that I am grateful for this morning. I mention this to share how a song and offering worship to God has turned my mornings into my favorite part of the day. I pray that I can practice more of this throughout my days with the goal or perfect union with the Holy Spirit until we see Him coming on the clouds…
Psalm 71:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 Though You have made me see troubles,
many and bitter,
You will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth
You will again bring me up.
Abba, my caring and merciful Father, please hear my prayer. I am so thankful and grateful that You help me to see troubles and bitter things. While I do not enjoy them, I know You are using them to mature our relationship. I pray for wisdom and understanding during these bitter moments so that I can use them for Your glory and not play the victim, which I am so accustomed to doing. Heavenly Father, I pray for a blanket of grace and peace to cloak us, Your children, as we go out into Your glorious day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
It’s uncanny how pertinent your daily prayers reflect what is transpiring in my life on those days. Grateful for each new day and hearing your text message. Thank you.
