Mark 2:17
On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Heavenly Father, hallelujah for this truth and for using Your disciples to record it for the world to see. I pray that when we encounter the unbeliever You will draw our hearts and minds to this truth and allow us to witness to this fact in our lives, that we are all broken and covered in sin which is why we so desperately seek You. Not that we are righteous or blameless (Romans 3:10 [Pss 4:1-3 & 53:1-3]) but in constant need of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose very name it is in that I pray, amen 🙏🏼
As I reviewed this prayer I can clearly see and hope those that know me well enough see as well that this type of thinking and writing is far beyond my own capabilities and that it is all the work of The Holy Spirit. Ask and you shall receive and I asked to be used and this is the fruit.
